 Extendable Tip-Down set at 36". The tip-down can be set as low as 24". There are 4 arms on the base which screws in to the bottom of the tube. |  20" Rod has metal prongs that sit inside of the harness and allow the rod to tip with ease. |  Rod in it's tipped down position. The reel will stay down as long as the fish is there. Reel will spin easily to let out line so a fish can run. |  The base unscrews from the bottom and the arms of the base fold up. The pole sits between the arms. Then the folded base with pole between it slides in to the tube and screws together. You are left with a lightweight 24" tube that is 2" in diameter. |
